This long sautoir necklace is handmade by the Pataxó people of Brazil, using a blend of natural seeds that are rich in meaning. Each sautoir is predominantly made of milagre semente or miracle seeds. Then they each carry a unique combination of the following seeds: Pariri, Olho de boi (ox eye seed), Pao Brazil and Fava.
In Pataxó tradition, seeds harbor the energy of the land. The ox eye seed is known for protection, believed to help ward off negative energy. Fava and Brazilwood seeds are associated with strength, vitality, and grounding. Pariri and the miracle seed are linked to healing, transformation, and spiritual connection.
This sautoir is versatile: it can be worn loose, layered, or wrapped, adapting easily to different moments of the day. It naturally elongates the silhouette while adding effortless elegance, whether worn with simple clothing or more elevated looks.
In the image, the model is wearing several necklaces at once to create a fuller, more expressive look.
Price is listed per unit. These sautoirs are sold individually. Each will carry miracle seeds and a distinct combination of seeds that includes some but not all the above-listed seeds.
