Hojari Frankincense, derived from the revered Boswellia sacra trees of Oman, is one of the highest grades of frankincense in the world. Known for its light, almost silvery-green tones and exceptional purity, it has been treasured for centuries for both its aromatic and medicinal qualities.
Sourced from the Dhofar region, Hojari Frankincense is considered medicinal grade and is valued for its natural detoxifying properties. Traditionally used to support the body’s cleansing processes, it works gently to help restore balance from within.
This resin can be used in several ways—chewed, soaked in water, or burned. When chewed or soaked in water and consumed, it supports oral health, cellular detoxification, freshens the breath, aids digestion, and is often associated with joint support. It also promotes a sense of inner stillness, helping to center, calm, and ground both mind and body.
When burned, Hojari Frankincense releases a clean, uplifting aroma with soft citrus and woody notes. The smoke carries a grounding quality, helping to clear the energy of a space while supporting intention-setting, manifestation, and inviting a sense of openness and prosperity.
You can make the hojari beverage in two ways. First option is to soak the equivalent of a teaspoon is in 8 oz of water and let I sit overnight for 8-12 hours. Drink it on empty stomach the next morning and chew the left over resins. For a deeper detox, you can repeat this protocol for 7 or 14 days in a row in a given month.
Second way is to grind the resin with a coffee grinder or with a pestle and mortar. Repeat the same steps as above.
To chew, take a penny sized piece of Hojari resin and chew it. You can also start with smaller a chunks and work your way up.
The frankincense comes in 1 2 oz sized tin.
