This traditional energetic bath comes from Bahia, Brazil, where plant baths are part of everyday spiritual practice.
It is made with a blend of natural herbs: eucalyptus, dandá, cinnamon, pau-tenente, clove, and bay leaf.
Eucalyptus is used to clear and refresh the body and mind. Dandá is traditionally used for protection. Cinnamon brings properity and helps lift heavy energy. Pau-tenente is known for cleansing and strengthening. Clove is energizing and helps restore vitality. Bay leaf is used for purification and setting intentions.
In Bahia, this type of bath is used to release dense energy, reset the spirit, and bring a feeling of lightness and clarity. It also supports people during times of change or when seeking balance and grounding.
To use, the herbs are steeped in boiling water. Let sit for 20 minutes. For multiple uses, pour liquid in a bottle and apply on body several days in a row for a master cleanse (3 or 7 days). After applying, let dry do not wipe it out. Do not keep liquid for more than 8 days. Alternatively, you can pour the infused herb in a bath tub and bathe in the liquid.
